THE NAME OF THE SCHOOL

A name gives an institution its identity. The name of the school serves as the key identifier element of the seal.

THE TRIUMVIRATE VALUES

Honor, excellence, and service serve as the school's core values and official motto. These are the guiding principles that the school aspires its students, teachers, and staff to always embody.

THE 41-LEAF LAUREL

The 41-leaf laurel represents the 39 municipalities and two (2) component cities. In 2011, the City of Lucena is the sole component city of the province which is why there is only one (1) laurel leaf in the middle of the seal.

THE ROMAN NUMERALS

To keep the founding year of the school in the people's minds, MMXI, which represents 2011, was included in the seal.

THE CENTERPIECE

The centerpiece of the seal is the map of the Province of Quezon on top of an atom that is placed on an aerial view of the school's main building. This symbolizes how Quezon Science High School is envisioned to house the province's brilliant young minds and foster excellence in Science and Technology.

THE STARS

A symbol of quintessence. The five stars represents the idea of a high quality education.

12-POINT REVERSE SCALLOP CIRCLE

The reverse scallop circle serves as the background element of the seal holding all the abovementioned components. The 12 points symbolize the school's 10 Pioneer Teachers, the first Officer-In-Charge Directress — Carmela Ezcel A. Orogo, and the Schools Division Superintend of Quezon at the time — Mrs. Gloria P. Potes.
